Hello and welcome to the newly revamped Lee Ingleby site. Now many of you are wondering many things: Why wasn't the site updated from August 2000 to February 2003? What happened to Darcy? Who is this Daryn? Does looking at a site made by a gay person make me gay?
I'll take the last one first. YES. By viewing this site, you have become irrevokably gay, regardless of any previous identities you may have inhabited. *tsk* You people...
But seriously, the site was not updated for many reasons. Cheif amongst those reasons being that I was far too busy with my first two and a half years at UC Santa Cruz, working 2 to 3 jobs at a time, taking extra classes, co-chairing a student organization, keeping my Philip Seymour Hoffman site up to date, and also, making the transition from Darcy to Daryn.
Which leads me to the name change. That's all it is, folks, a name change. And a gender change. My name was Darcy, and I identified as female and now my name is Daryn and I identify as male. That's an oversimplification and you can read more about what it means to me to be trans on my other site. One of my other sites.
So, why have I picked up this site again? Many reasons. First reason being that I still love Lee. He's awesome, cute, blah blah blah. Next being that all y'all seem to have wanted the site to be updated for whatever reason. I guess some of you kind of like Lee too :)
Anyway, I started this site back in 1999 because I had seen Lee in Cadfael and Ever After and thought he deserved a website. I had actually been watching Cadfael to get pictures of Julian Firth for my site on him and I had gotten some screencaps of him because I thought he was really cute.
Then I had been watching Ever After and thought 'hmmmm, that fellow is really cute and... damn he looks familiar!' and of course it was Lee and I just knew that I was fated to make this site.
I did see Killer Net and I still have it on tape somewhere. It's horrifically bad and I don't even understand what Lee says half the time but ....
Lee Ingleby Programs/Movies that I have seen:
• Cadfael: The Pilgrim of Hate
• Ever After
• Killer Net
